Traveling to San Francisco

I had the privilege of living in San Francisco for three school years. I am rather fascinated and inspired by the second most populous city in the United States. Has anyone traveled to San Francisco before? What are your favorite things to do? Anyone else fascinated by Hait-ashbury or The Hait?
